This is Clayton, he's my little chinchilla buddy. He's six months old and I adopted him from ChinchillaRescue.org. He's very shy, but quite adorable and even squeaky sometimes. He loves taking dust baths(to clean his thick fur) and nibbling on dried cranberries.
This is a beautiful photo my sister took of Clayton last night. He is still getting comfortable with his new home and tentatively exploring my bedroom. Last night he let me know the lights were on too late by releasing short bursts of squeaks at midnight.
